Registrations & Sign-ups

  • BAEsports is open for all players, PlayStation, Xbox, PC and more, to join, freely, from either +18 years of age, or +13 with parental guidance (in certain Esports games, please look up the game in question).

This is open through registering on the forms that are on our website when you select the game(s) of your choice.

  • Yes. Joining BAEsports is 100% free, there are no fees at all to join BAEsports, or any event, unless otherwise specified in advance.

There may, in the future, be some special events that may be a pay-to-enter contest, however, these are always clearly stated beforehand and are always completely irrelevant to the season.

In some cases, there may be an entry fee in order to join, which will only be for the final prize pool. It depends on the game and the contract. These, once again, will be optional to join and will be transparently explained beforehand that it will not be a free-to-join event.

All events that may have or need an entry fee to enter may only be entered by players that are over the age of 18 years old.

  • Bruh…

In all seriousness, no, BAEsports is absolutely not a scam. Obviously, us saying this might not change your mind, however, we do not ask for your bank details. All we will ask to the manager is a paypal.me account or a Revolut account or a way to give gift cards to your team. We will not ask for any bank details unless it is necessary to send transfers. We will never ask for bank transfers.

All the money from prize pools will be provided by us, possible partners & sponsors, and will be given to the team in question.

  • So, to join you must have

    • A Discord account that has a valid email account and 2FA authentication on.

    • A Challengermode account (Discord for competitions, free to use & download)

    • Fill out the forms we have placed in every game to sign up for your game of choice, both team principals/coaches and players need to sign up, individually. That way we know that you have read the rules yourself, and players have a different type of contract to BAEsports than coaches & team principals do. Click on all the games that you want to participate and then the “Sign up as [x],” and fill out the form from there. The lucky ones who will be joining us on our venture will come to BAEsports and compete for cash.

    • Additionally, you might need some extra accounts that are relevant to the game and/or platform of the game in question
(i.e., to participate in our iRacing events, you would need an iRacing account, a RIOT Games account for our League of Legends events, etc.)

  • The BAEsports Challengermode servers are closed, as they are reserved only for invited players, who got accepted by BAEsports staff into the tournament. Not everyone is allowed to join the Challengermode server, as it is done to make sure that there is order and that we know who is where in BAEsports.

  • So, there is a form of priority in BAEsports, but in general, all are welcome

Here is our list of priority, within each priority, we have a first-come, first-serve policy.

    1. Real Professional Esports / Other sports teams with Esports an esports club (FaZe, Schalke 04, etc.)

    2. Esports teams and individuals that have joined BAEsports events and tournaments before.

    3. Semi-professional & amateur, established Esports teams

    4. College / school esports teams

    5. Individuals who are not yet in a Esports team, and need to be recruited or create an amateur team themselves.

    • Player: You are only a player of your team, you hold no financial or other responsibility in your team other than playing in the role assigned to you. You play and that is it. You are part of a team

    • Manager: You own the team or otherwise are chosen representative of the team. You are also the one liable and responsible and distributor of financial prize pool money, if applicable, to the rest of the team. You also need to represent the team and lead the team, by giving all the data of the team (logo, name, etc.) and are held responsible in the way that we, BAEsports and its affiliates, have rights to use it, as is written in the BAEsports Rulebook & contract. You are allowed to play with your team in certain games and cases, but mostly are there to manage and coach your team to victory.

  • You can sign up here on our website, saying what you want to do. There are many roles. These are the following roles:

Fair play

  • Yes, the rulebook for both teams and players is right here. Enjoy reading :)

  • We are assuring BAEsports as much as we humanly can. We are working in a way that we are ensuring to create a rulebook, working together with the League Coordinators to create the rules of every league. Apart from this, we are also having referees in every event, policing in a neutral fashion at every event and every match, and giving out the punishment that best coordinates with the rulebook in place.

Apart from Anti-Cheat Software, we also urge teams to police each other in possible breaches of rules or other cheats.

  • Depends on the videogame. In games created by RIOT for example, such as VALORANT or League of Legends, there is no need because there is an in-game anti-cheat software. In other games, however, such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it is necessary to download and use an anti-cheat in order to join our CS:GO server.

Here is a list of games in the 2023 season that do need an anti-cheat software installed.

    • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

  • You can DM your League Coordinator directly on Discord, or use the Discord platform, where you can fill out a form where you can detail all the poissible ways that a certain player has cheated. Your report will remain anonymous, and our team will have a look at it.

You can also message us on Twitch or on YouTube while the stream is happening, and the streamers can have a direct look at it.

Please, take into account that we will mainly look into the form, therefore we urge you to submit the form with all the details.

We also urge you to either show us a timestamp or record and share your gameplay on YouTube, as it will help us in our investigation.

Please, take into account that it may take up to 24 hours for referees and the League Coordinators to come up with a final conclusion, once we have received your complaint on our form.

  • Yes, you absolutely can. If you disagree with the decision that our referee team has made, we can look into it, as every team will get 1 review per incident, thus our referee and our team will look into it again 1 time. However, after this, the team’s decision is final.

You can do this through another form given on our Discord.

However, there may be a penalty if there is a request that only serves as what our team would consider a “time-waste,” meaning that we are looking into disputes we consider understandable. Any disputes that come with no motive other than to waste our time may be considered as a penalty to the team in question. These could be the following penalties, in no particular order:

    • A point loss, if applicable in the game or league in question.

    • A possible re-match, depending on the situation.

    • A fine to a charity

    • Ban from this and/or next tournament

    • Temporary or even permanent hold from joining any BAEsports events in the future.

  • We want BAEsports to be for the players, by the players, therefore, we have set a text-channel in every Discord server where people can ask for a change in the rules or a way to improve ourselves in BAEsports. We will have a public vote on it every Sunday.

While everyone is allowed to give suggestions, only managers are allowed to vote to either approve, reject or abstain from the new rule. If the rules are approved by a majority vote, then it will be in place for next season.

In the case that there is a complete 50/50 split in the voting (not counting the abstains), BAEsports referees, League Coordinators and Co-Owners will have the final say whether the new rule will be approved or rejected for the next season.

  • You can sign up here, and make sure that you are going to be completely unbiased in the decision-making for the next events. Every decision will come with the name of the referee, meaning that there may be a way to trace any possible bias against a certain player or team.

  • The different penalties are all set here, but are depending on circumstances, games, leagues, and are subject to change.
