BREAKING: Nemoses through to play-offs after AlpersemihAYDIN’s deception

Nemoses brought to the attention, after their hard-hitting loss, that took a mere 20 minutes, that something was amiss, so claim multiple members of the team, against one of the Turkish teams, AlerpsemihAYDIN.

Nemoses has called out the new jungler, who was interviewed before and after the game, and accused the whole team of cheating, which constited of multiple violations of the BAEsports code of conduct.

  • Account sharing

  • Unable to scout (unable to read an opponent with the use of OP.GG)

The reason they were unable to scout, was because the jungler player played in an account that was not his main account. A couple of suspicious activities lied when AlpersemihAYDIN they did not connect the correct account in Challengermode, where only 1 of which was known to be a smurf account, as the Turkish team does not have accounts in EUW.

The summoner spells were also inaccurate, the account suddenly changed roles and summoner spells positions, which is visible on the OP.GG, which was brought up by one of the Nemoses players.

Allegations made by Nemoses to the BAEsports staff.

These infractions are a breach of the BAEsports Rulebook, and to a certain extent, even the RIOT guidelines, including the rules of 2.7.2B of the BAEsports rulebook.

2.7.2B Exploiting

Exploiting is defined as intentionally using a loophole or a way around the ruleset of the competition in order to seek a competitive advantage. Any exploitation attempts will be punished by management staff if deemed necessary.

The turkish team is allowed to have 1 review under BAEsports rules, as per rule 2.2.6 in the BAEsports rulebook

2.2.6 Punishment for breaking roster rules

Any team or person found to have broken the rules or found to have done anything that constitutes unfair play, will be subject to punishment. The league retains the right to punish any team/player it deems to have broken the rules. […]

Any punishment may be appealed by opening a support ticket. This however does not guarantee the alleviation of the punishment and in many cases won’t change the outcome.

As for now, however, the outcome of today’s match, Nemoses versus AlpersemihAYDIN is reverse, and Nemoses has won the game, bringing them up at the same level as Universae in their group (Group B).

Ahmed, the co-founder of BAEsports and co-head of BAEsports League of Legends is disappointed, but happy that the teams are effective in policing eachother.

It’s a disappointment, for sure. One has to follow the rules made by management, and it is great that some teams are reading the rules, in order to make everything as fair as possible, and we’re happy Nemoses brought this to our attention, as they are right in their review.

This may be overturned, if AlpersemihAYDIN wishes to have a review in the next 24 hours. However, as for now, it seems as though both Turkish teams are out of the tournament.
